- Get tasks out of your head and onto your to-do list fast by dictating them to your Apple Watch. Open the Todoist app by tapping the Todoist logo on your Apple Watch face. Force touch anywhere inside the app and you’ll see the option to Add Task. Once you see the voice recognition waves, say the task details and tap Done.
- Todoist for Apple Watch is an evolution of the concept shared by the company earlier this year. The main screen displays your profile picture and karma level; below that, the app has a button to view tasks due today, which opens a list of tasks you can complete or edit directly from your Watch.
Todoist on Wednesday refreshed its task management tools across multiple Apple platforms, including iOS, OS X, the Apple Watch, and Safari, the latter of which has a new dedicated plugin.
Todoist is the app that much of the team here at CIG uses. It has a fairly minimalist.
The Todoist iOS app now supports 3D Touch on the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. From the homescreen, users can quickly create a task, or check existing tasks for either the current day or the next week. Within the app people can preview a Web link without actually opening it.
Other iOS improvements include Spotlight search integration, iPad keyboard shortcuts, and the ability to respond to comments from notifications. Support for 'deep' linking, meanwhile, should take users directly to a task, comment, or list within the app, instead of opening up the Todoist website in a Web browser.
Bundled with the iOS code is a redone Apple Watch app, now native for watchOS 2. The app should load much faster as a result, automatically syncing tasks and projects. It also offers watchface complications, such as the next upcoming task, or the number of items left to do for the day.
The Mac software includes a redesigned Quick Add Shortcut supporting natural language input for labels, projects, and deadlines. The shortcut can be invoked by hitting Shift-Command-A from anywhere in OS X.
The new Safari plugin functions similarly to the Quick Add Shortcut, including the same natural language support.

All of Wednesday's updates are free downloads, though some features — like automatic backups and location alerts — require a Premium subscription, which costs $28.99 per year.

Todoist comes to the App Store of Apple Watch with great features. It will make you forget the absence of reminders feature. A few months ago, we reported that the Todoist task manager was prepared Todoist version for Apple Watch. We had the opportunity to talk with Enric Enrich, one of the primary responsibility for the development.
Today, the application officially come to the App Store with some new feature that we could not find in that previous version and now we unveiled. Although Apple decided not to include the Reminders application in OS Watch, we have some great alternatives. For example, Wunderlist, it already has a version for the Apple Watch. Now is Todoist who goes to show that with a hole on the wrists of users to enable them to manage more easily and efficiently their daily tasks.
The application is divided into several screens that will help us more easily organize tasks that we have pending. On the “Today” we will find what is most urgent and we want to make ready soon. We also found the tab “Projects”, a much broader view of all the tasks that lie ahead and that we can apply different filters to make easier navigation and location.
Clicking on each task will access a more detailed view which will show additional information about it, their labels, its date of application and priority. From here, we can mark them as completed or postpone it for later. Of course, we can also create new tasks directly from the Apple Watch, so we’ll just use Force Touch and use our voice to give it a title. We can also respond to comments left in our contacts, shared those projects, and using the voice dictation.
Todoist can now be downloaded for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch from the App Store
Todoist also has its own Glance for Apple Watch. We can get a quick view of the most urgent and immediate tasks we have to do. Finally, the iPhone and iPad versions have also been updated and now include a new widget for the Notifications Center and an extension to integrate into different corners of iOS. Since then, the absence of reminders in Apple Watch is being very well used by the many proposals that arise from developers. Developers have to pick and choose carefully what information is worth presenting on the Watch and what is better left on the iPhone.
